General Information[]
Advanced Mills can be directly built or upgraded from a Mill.
Strategy and Tips[]
- Advanced Mills (and normal Mills) have to be separated by at least 4 tiles.
- This means that in practice, new mills cannot be placed in a 4 tile zone around already existing mill, effectively creating a 10x10 "no-mill"-zone.
- Thus, it is most efficient to build them diagonally parallel to each other.
- Advanced Mills are more space and worker efficient than their basic Mill counterparts, but are a serious drain on an economy due to their high maintenance and build cost. Excessive use of Advanced mills will bring a less advanced economy completely to a halt. As such, they are generally not used until further expansion is basically impossible.
- Upgrading a mill takes less than one tick, making it the fastest way to acquire energy.
